The Passages To a New World of Color

Marquez Scoggin is a self-taught visionary artist residing in southern Illinois who loves making, teaching, and appreciating art in all its’ forms and experiences.

As an entrepreneur, Marquez has Co-founded Project Human X, a community arts center in Carbondale, Illinois near the Southern Illinois University campus

Marquez’ vision is to share all the positive and therapeutic benefits that come along with being creative and to encourage humans to be their authentic selves and express themselves freely through art.

Marquez believes art is the best way to bring human beings of different kinds together in a peaceful and productive way. 

In 2019, Marquez created a new “language” that unites color, sound and meaning.
